I think that it might help if you were to let everyone know what you mean by 'sliders'.
------------------ |

Sorry......I'm not exactly sure what to call that....It's the only thing I see sliding across the top of the Ozone home page....It's sort of a button type thingy that drags across the catagories....Semi-Transparent & sleek. Know what I'm talking about?
------------------ |

Heh, I've been asked a bunch about a tutorial for that device. Gad, where would I even begin to start? I know a lot of folks who tend to build all of their code as neat little packages, but I don't!
Hey! Cool little hack I just thought of, off to modify the front page! Back in a flash!

------------------ |

Woo-hho! Changed the behavious just a bit, what d'ya think?
The dark blue? I set the gamma on my mac way low, it's nearly as dark as an older PC, a good compromise, I want folks to see my work!
PC users, can you see that my background is blue, and not black? Hope so!
Your pal, -doc- |

Cool.....Yeah, a tutorial in that slider direction would be great! If you changed the blue I can't tell....looks about the same here...I guess I should get a PC just to see where the tweak zone is.
------------------ |

I just had to adjust the brightness and contrast of my monitor to see that the background was actually blue!! Thanks for the tip, I would never have known!
p.s. it's nice to finally be properly acknowledged as a maniac : )
------------------ |

What a great idea....I'm going to send my PC friends here and tell them to adjust the monitor till it's blue....I always get the feeling that they have the display sideways.
------------------ |

for you mac users out there-- I have a handy little app that lets you toggle the gamma on your monitor. you put it in your fonts folder of all places and when you hold down command-shift-9 you can toggle between mac and pc gammas. works great. where should I send or upload it to make it available to others?
------------------ |

About the slider, I personally liked it better the first way; when it was only visible with the mouse at the top of the page. |

I like the slider both ways, but the new way seems to be more obvious....Anyway I'd like that app...for the pc to Mac gamma..Is that anywhere yet?
------------------ |
