Hmm, hard to say if they're scrimping or not, but most Adobe programs are developed first on the Mac, and then ported to the PC. I'm not sure about the variance in the LensFlare, that really shouldn't have happened, not really. Try this, select 'all', and THEN do the lens flare. The size of the flare is dependent on the selection, a bigger selection, a bigger flare. I've made some documents temporarily bigger just to get a different flare, and then cropped them down back to size. (Not on the glass example, though! Hmm..) FWIW, I'm working on my Macintosh G4 right now, but also running version 4.01, the new features on the 5+ versions are pretty minor in my book, and I haven't upgraded this machine yet.
-doc- |

I do photoshop on both the PC and a mac G4, and the only difference that I've come across is the keyboard shortcuts.
I use a 21" monitor on the PIII box that I built, and the cinema 22" display on the G4, and they both behave and look comparably. I tend to prefer then interface of the Mac better though....my .02 |

Hmm...
I've worked on both and I have to say I prefer the 2-button control system.
------------------ |
