Doc, I read you inset Lines tutorial and had a sligt trouble accomplisihg the task major problem was getting the X,Y set to 12,11.
Additionally, I want to use the framed in effect of The Inset lines.(I think they are anyway) used on this Website, but I'm not sure how to add those wonderful curves to the insets.
And if I decide to keep the square edge how can I add the texture effect of my BG to the table edge.
Any assisitance will be GREATLY appreciated.
------------------ |

To get the X and Y where you want it, click on the "info" tab on the top pallet. Just move your cursor until the coordinates read X: 12, Y: 11, and click. voila. |

OK, I know what the first bit is, it all has to do with the 'units' you're using. The default is inches or centimeters or something else equally useless for web work. Open up your preferences, there is a section marked "Units & Rulers". Open it up and set your default unit to "Pixels". All will now make sense, I'm betting. (Look in the info pallette, it'll display there, as that Lunatic DL-44 pointed out.)
Your pal, -doc- |

Thanks, DL-44 worked perfectly with a few minor adjustments. One problem though, If I wanted the inset color to be BLACK so that I have an inset outline effect, how much different would the procedure be cause my BG is an angular(-45 degrees) brushed metal effect(dark grey about 70%), so I need a strong black outline effect on the inset just like in the URL I gave you... |

Make sure the foreground color is Black when you do the stroke. If it's not strong enough, make it two pixels thick. Give me a few minutes and I'll give you some table coding.
------------------ |

usually when that happens it's because the size of the cell and the size of the image are not the same, or you haven't specified the needed "rowspan" or "colspan" for 1 or more of your td's. If you can link to the page, or post the html, I may be able to help. Email me if you need to: DL-44@snet.net
------------------ |
