Hiya Matt! Just a bit of advice before I even comment on your site. I get a ton of mail saying stuff like "My site sucks. Go check it out now!" Hrmm, I never feel too motivated, many of those folks get no feedbacks. Don't be so down on yourself. The DomainCow is kind of silly, cow with a propeller hat, t.ex, but the table structure works nice for me. I actually ended up searching domains there, it worked OK, but not enough cool domains. I guess http://www.greatdomains.com/ and http://www.afternic.com/ have been sucking up a lot of the good names. I was at Afternic on the recommendation of one of our regulars here, "o3.org" was up for bidding, but it went out of my price range pretty quick.
For flaming text, do you mean text shapes made from flame, or text that has flames flickering off of it? The first is eay, I use it a lot, the second is kind of a pain. Lemme know, OK? Maybe someone with more energy will pipe in here now that the is thread is 'broken in'. :-)

Hey, not bad. I didn't actually use the site, but the design is nice -- straightforward, smooth, easy on the eyes.
As far as flaming text, I beleive I've seen some tute's on that -- I'll see if I can dig any up again. If no-one else steps up with one of their own, I'll try and post one myself too.
What care I how time advances? I am drinking Ale today. -- Edgar Allen Poe

Well, if you are loonking to make text that is made out of flame, here's what you do.
Create your text, make it nice and bold, and large, with good spacing between each letter. Go to Image>Rotate Canvas>90 Degrees CCW. Apply the wind filter to it twice, just use the default settings. Now rotate it 90 degrees CW and apply the diffuse filter with default sttings, but make sure those sttings include 'NORMAL'. Apply the gaussian blur filter at 1.5 pixels. Now apply the Distort>Ripple filter with a setting of 100. Go to Image>Mode>Indexed Colour. Now go to Image>Mode>Colour Tables. Select the black body table from the drop down menu, convert bakc to RGB mode to make any onther filter changes you may want to do and ea voila text made out of flame. You can use this effect to make anything out of flame if you want. At the moment, I am making an interface out of flame!

/_-=SKAARJJ=-_\
