http://www.blackcut.com/XImaging/fallen/endor.jpg
I personally like the 1st and secound. In both of those I used my first fire attempt. How does the fire itself look? And how do the indivual pics look? And then which is the best?

Yah, the last one was too busy, the pattern on the text, against a busy background, too much for my taste. The first and second are better, IMO. I'd like to see some of these things in context, do you have a page of your own? Let us see it! We'll be nice, promise! Don't sweat the heavy intro you got here, most of us post images only occasionally, and use links for the bigger projects, it's easier on all concerned. Good work!

First off it kinda looks like you "gave up" on stone.jpg. It doesn't have the same feel as the others, kinda bland.
The krell.jpg looks like the begining of something really nifty. I'd like to see where you are going to take this one.
The endor.jpg is very hard to read and very busy, but I have the feeling that you are the kind of artist that likes to produce busy images. So it's not a bad thing.
All in all here are some words to become familiar with, anti-alias, (some of you text is jagged), blending modes, (play with the blending modes in the layers pallette). Other words are curves, lighting effects, and variatons. You've got a good handle on things so far, now is the time to start expanding before you get locked into a narrow focus.

I like the krell piece the best myself. It will be interesting to see how far you develop that and to see it's implementation on a site.

I think that most of us see these images as a starting point or a begining. We are just looking for more of a finished look, not that what you have isn't good, we just don't know what you are trying to do with the images. Sometimes context helps in making an image come to life.

As signature images, they are kinda big, and hard to read. But if thats suits you, use them.

Okay, again, I will say -- smaller. Smaller. Smaller. A sig picshould be a quick, short, to the point image. Who/what are we talkining about here? oh....TF X17. Ok, cool.
The fire was cool -- bright and hot, maybe a tad too yellow (all a matter of context and opinion -- overall, good fire).
And of course....NO! You are never done!!! Art is something that never ends it's cycle. There is no "complete" piece. There is no web-site that is not "under construction". Especially at a young age, these images are merely a matter of learning and progression. GOOD work, but nonetheless, a learning process at it's finest.
