Hi Doc,
Good to meet you, I first posted yesterday very, very, late...................
I'd love to contribute but I'm in kindergarden where Web Paging is concerned I'd like to express my admiration for your taste and your work. Timothymcnulty gave me good advice where to learn the basics of HTML, so for now I'm in the unfortunate position of taking advice instead of giving or contributing to this forum.
I hope this is the beginning of an interesting communication extending in the future.

Hi Freya, I assume you're talking about the link I posted......Those are all done in Bryce. A great program, especially if you are just getting started with 3D..I don't know how much you looked around, but my website stuff is all done in Photoshop, Painter & Illustrator..

Thanks Tafka
I looked at the link for now, I'm discovering A LOT about making designs and the various programs. For now I'm in kindergarden learning HTML because I think I have good ideas but you can only go so far with templates and a basic editor (web shell) provided by angelfire, still it's a beginning the other alternative I've found that gives me a little bit more versatility is using Netscape Page Composer and uploading it to my site, that way I can use different fonts which I can't do with the web shell (as far as I can tell) I've been doing researches on the internet for fantastic clip arts, but I'd like to learn how to do mirror effects (on rippling water) I don't have a clue how to do it!

Hey guys for those who cant access my site ...well im still in limbo with internic...ive changed my domain name provider but am still in limbo...but you can access my server thru... http://209.133.10.157 .......... i use painter 6 quite a bit also.....every artist has to have painter.........layer

Hey Dan i paint wild custom colors on puters for 150.00........you dont want to know what i get for airbrushing...hehehe..500+...........it takes a lot of time and patience to pull off a nice piece..........so its for the guy who has everything option..........not saying you dont but thats the price of PS............but i might make exceptions for some of the homies here................maybe shipping charges and a nice dinner for me and the wife might talk me into something.....:-)

Next time I'm Washington (if ever again) I'll make sure to stop by, take you out for dinner <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif"> and see what I can arrange. Hopefully I'll have money by the end of summer. By next year I hope to have $15k so I can't get a car along with my drivers license <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif">

I can see why air brushing would cost so much, but its almost irresistible. If I buy another new comp before Christmas, I'll make sure its one worthy enough, and see how much money I can dig up to pay for the amazing service you provide!

I wish I knew how to do that myself =[ Stuff would be easier that way.

Yea Freya I do.....The Photoshop book that comes with the Program is a good place to start, then Doc Ozones hands on tutorials are, of course great, Adobes tips and tricks site is great also. There are a lot of other tutorials on the net, you can find references to quite a few of them in the archives here. There are also quite a few really good books out,(Photshop Magic comes to mind for one), if you can get them they are very helpful. If you need help finding them let me know, it's not hard.

Tafka,
Thanks for the advice, I guess I'll be alternating between learning html and photoshop. I found a tutorial on Bryce, it's awsome!!! I can just visualise the possibilities!!!
Do you know how to create a mirror effect (you know like a ripling pool of water with the subjects reflection?)

O.K. Freya,
There are several ways to do it in Photoshop, it's simple..Let me know when you get Photoshop. In Bryce it's even easier..when you adjust the object or plane you're working on to resemble water, water acts like water, just adjust the refract index, reflection, turbulance, and transparency parameters till you get the effect you like..then hang something in the air above it. Actually it's a good idea to hang something in the air first. If you can get your hands on the first Bryce book do it. I think you'll have a better understanding of how it all works if you start there.
