Yea. I think I need to choose a fatter font. It looks alright with a solid black background....

Anyone have suggestion for getting an image to work on both background colors? :O

Yah! Signature check, woop woop! Here's mine, getting boring yet? Myoclone, I like the effect, but I had to look close to get the name, not always a good sign. Nice work, dramatically different colors, but it works on my dark somber background. I like it!

Oh yeah, matching the background, right! Take a screen cap, and fill a document with the lighter of the two colors. Then, make a new layer, and fill it with the darker. Set it to 50%. Use that resulting color as your transarent color, should match pretty good. Sharp edged blends are easier, of course, but blurs are still do-able.

I believe somewhere in this forum Slime provided the rgb and web average indexed colors for this forum....by the time you find it though you could have done it yourself maybe!

Nice, just use a bit bigger font, or make the font you have now bolder so it is easier to read. Nice effect though <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif">

Another quick question...I am using Photoshop 5.5 on a Mac with OS 9.0.4 and I am having a little problem.

I tried finding the comparable hotkeys on the Mac as Phong uses in his tutorials and, well, now Edit->Fill doesn't work correctly. I can do paint bucket dumps of foreground and background but using the fill command, except to do black/white/gray, doesn't do anything. I get an entry in history but it doesn't actually fill the selection...

Anyone know whats up?
