Here's an interface (it doesn't have buttons yet) inspired by eyeball-design #7. Tell me what you think.

I think the phrase "inspired by" is somewhat of an understatement here <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/eek.gif">

Really though, not bad, but it is obvious from 1st glance where the idea came from, to anybody who's ever been to eyeball-design.com
Your bevels are really really sharp though - is that from a special filter, or are they hand made?

It's not for any type of use, just for practice. I often like to take images that I like and try to recreate/change them around.

I agree with the other guys but it sure looks and sounds like you had fun doing it!

Wow you know what would be real cool, I dunno how well you work with Flash but you could turn that into a flash movie and make it so when you click on one of the center buttons the whole thing sorta turns, and when the button is clicked, the outside circle could spin open more and out comes the actual content ... or possible not whichever, just that I'd share my creativity with the group =0)

Maybe if I get some time I'll work on a Flash interface with it, but I've been working on some wallpapers lately. Respond if you'd like to see them.

I like that a lot! A little jaggy at the edges of the circle, always a pain to hide that, but maybe with a slightly textured background you could do it. Nice! Post a link to some of the wallpapers, looks like they'd be worthwhile.
