Preserved Topic: Marks New Layout (Page 1 of 1)

In my daily surfing, Ive been seening a lot of reaction to Mark's (www.designsbymark.com) new layout. Most of, well all of it is bad. I just want to hear what you all have to say about it. Personally I think his new layout is awesome. Its just friendly to look at and easy on the eyes i guess. Besides that its neat and tidy.

the design is "feh." i honestly DO have a problem with that guy and i'm really not sure why. that bugs me personally... that i think this guy is a chump, but i don't know why. gut feeling maybe?

anyone else not really like designsbymark.com? he's probably a good guy and his stuff helps others, it's just never done anything good for me.

Any particular reason why you dont like Mark? Ive talked to him a few times through email and he seems like a real nice guy and Im impressed by his work.

jestah: like i said, there's no real reason i don't like him that i can put my finger on. just some subconscious reservation i hold towards the guy unfortunately, it's my problem though.

delphi: you even read what i originally wrote? i said i didn't like his stuff, but actually feel bad because i don't have a real reason for not liking him. so anyways, bugger off.

huh. see I have to go with mikey here...I don't have a problem with the guy....I think he's good at what he does, and I think it's really cool that he has set out to help people....but there's just something about him........... just not for me that's all <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/confused.gif">

Well..I do like that guy. I think its hard to find someone like him on the web.

But, honestly, I like the Mark's first layout...the one with black background. I'm not saying that I don't like the new and the latest layout, but the first one seems to be my favourite.

Anyway, what's your opinion about Mark's Photoshop 5.5 f/x CD-ROM ?

Ive talked to a lot of people who used Marks CD and I hear mixed thoughts. Obviously more advanced users didnt like it and thought i was a waste of money but the beginners raved about it. I actually havent had the chance to see any of the tutorials on his CD, so if anyone out there in cyber space has his CD and wants to comment, please do, I'm interested.
