OK; Freya, geez, all of your psots generate lots of comment, and I can't figure which question is bothering you most (from the GurusNetwork thread, ibid.) Here is the place, I'm going to email you, and you post it here, simple as you can. Something about slicing up our images for interfaces, sounded like? |

Whew - this was a case of getting mixed up with all the topics on this board. The post I refer to above was in the Ozone topic, not here in Photoshop. And it's still there! Man, so many places to be looking! Go read it and if you still have *specific* questions post them back in here in the Photoshop topic - I don't have time to keep monitoring all the new posts in all the topics, okay? |

It sounds to me like you need to go to a place and read all the tutorials on the tools in photoshop and how to use them. Cutting and pasting is a very easy task. Do you have the photoshop manual? What version of photoshop do you have? You can go to http://www.screamdesign.com and they have a tools section(not for sure if it has cutting and pasting though) And I'm sure there are more places with tutorials telling how to use the different tools. Really the best way for you to learn is to go through every tutorial you can find step by step. Lots of times the images you make won't look like their's but you just have to keep doing it again until you figure out what you did wrong. When I was first learning some things it took me several tries to figure out simple things now. |

I agree with Minute Rice, I would read a lot of tutorials on how to use the Photoshop tools, check the photoshop manual, goto www.screamdesigns.com and also www.designsbymark.com has some decent tutorials for getting used to Photoshops tools, check out his 20 Quick Tips. |

Maybe it's a little too early for this, but it'd be worth checking it out anyways..... http://www.nebulus.org/ps_tut.shtml |
