Preserved Topic: Broken Glass? (Page 1 of 1)

Hey I am a newbie to Photoshop. I have been learning alot lately and have even figured out a few things on my own(imagine that)Anyway I was just wondering if anyone knew of any tutorials or had any tips on making realistic looking shattered glass. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

Broken glass is pretty tough to make in photoshop. DarkGarden is awfully good at writing those tutorials, so maybe he can help you out. I would have a hard time putting it in words...Anyway, your best option may be to use a 3d editor rather than photoshop, but that's just my opinion.

Thanks man. I don't know too much about 3d creations. I'm still real green at all of this. Though I really enjoy everything that I learn. I am really looking for maybe not even shattered glass but any way to make a broken or shattered kind of effect. Thanks alot for your help.
