I know this should probably be in the GN section, and better yet on the site itself, but i have some registering problems. |

Hmm, are you saying I should buy more popular PS books? :-) That is definitely an issue, and we should do our best to avoid any copyright issues, we're going to be getting a lot of publicity out of this venture, people *will* notice. I can't compare, cause I don't know what book you speak of, but if so the images should be swapped out. |

Frankly, i dont remember the name of the book since i dont have a copy... But im quite sure i am correct. Better to make sure these things are in order than get in shit. |

I think the problem is that all of the photographs look too professional, they *must* be from a book or something, eh? Rmember all of you, Steve came to this end of the business by being a professional photographer first, that's pretty cool! SO! It's probably just the professionalism of the shots that gives that "haven't I seen something like this before?" feeling. If not, Stevo gets to sue somebody, woo-hoo! |

Frankly I don't know whether to be pleased my work was mistaken for something ligitimized by prior publication, or bummed that I didn't have something so cutting edge and individual that it couldn't possibly have been seen before. Sigh. On reflection, I'll go with "pleased" - life's too short. |

My appologies Steve!!! i really should have checked better before posting here, even though i tried to be sensitive... Its just that i was TOTALLY convinced i seen those pictures in a good PS book in a puter store a couple of weeks ago, which i dont have access to at the given moment. Maybe my imagination has fooled me. Something still looks really familiar to me in them though and if i find the specific book i will check to see what caused me to get this strange Deja-vu. Great tutorial, and again, I'm sorry for the mistake. |

Well I'm glad at least it was in a good Photoshop book! <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/wink.gif"> And to restate myself, if you do have an opportunity to find the book again and there are in fact striking similarities, to the point where someone might have the same reaction you did, please let us know about it and I'll consider making alterations to what I used just to avoid any scent to impropriety. |

Sure thing man. Is it possible that the "db" logo was used by David Biedney himself in a book? I wish i had the title so we could ask someone who owns it to check for similarities. I will try to check it in the book store next week. |
