Hey everyone-
I'm practicing the wires tutorials and all is going well until the "stroke" command. I'm pretty sure I'm doing it correctly, but the stroke appears very blurred. It looks more like airbrush than stroke?!

How can I clean this up without having to blow the image up 500% and use the eraser?

Are there stroke settings I'm missing?

PS I am stroking "center", but the outside edges are still blurred.

Thanks all!

Hmm I think I use a different way to make wires then you. What tutorial are you using? I dont use a stroke when I make mine. BTW where in suffolk are you from?

stroke depends greatly on what you are stroking.....if the object ore selection you are stroking has a soft edge, so will the stroke.

Are you stroking a selection or a path? If you are stroking a path, don't click the stroke button at the bottom of the Paths pallette. Instead, bring up the pallette menu and click Stroke Subpath. Then it will give you an option of which tool to use.

Or else have the tool and its attributes selected in the tool palette and options menu before stroking the path!

The tutorial I'm using :
http://www.eyeball-design.com/tutorial_afterfx12.htm

I'm following this tutorial exactly, but my stroke doesn't look anything like figure 9 shows. As I said, it looks more like the stroke was created with the airbrush tool (?)

BTW- I'm in the Bay Shore/Brightwaters area of Suffolk...

If there are other, more comprehensive tutorials, please post them!

Thanks again everybody!
