Is there any way to get a wire mesh 3d effect applied to something in photohop without using expensive rendering software? I have Blender but can't make heads or tails of it. |

Is there any way to just create a pattern and apply that into a photoshop document without making it look like a checkerboard? |

Sloloem: Is there an example of what you mean. How 3D do you actually want to get it? Are you looking at DG's stuff or Nevex's? Nevex's sig isnt showing up for me but that wireframelyness is fairly easy to do with Photoshop. Of course as mentioned in two other threads DG uses Rhino for his wireframes. You can just download that demo copy. |

Sloloem - I'm not sure if I'm telling you what you want to know, but here's how to create a grid without it looking like a checkerboard... |

Has anybody ever used the displace filter? i think that can be used to make a basic simple wire frame... Anybody? |

Well, you got the most important part of the trick, you gotta have some marbles! Not all of them, just a few, to look at, heh. See http://www.ozones.com/marbles/marble_desktop.jpeg for a bunch of my favorite marbles, keep 'em in a sack, near my desk. |

I just noticed something....I did a smart blur on the golfball from "Welcome to my golf course" And used "edge only" and ended up with a white wireframe almost...I don't know if this'll work on other shapes or not but it seems to have some potention, tell me what you think. |
