i wanted to say hello to you all, after reading through a few rather amusing threads the last couple days. i found out about the ozone from mr mikey milker, who already seems to have established his winsome personality around here.

so anyway, the first piece i would like to present to you is this:

I told Mikey when he showed me that image in Q, that I love the mosaic treatment of the background, and the tritone feel of it.

Very nice...and welcome to the Asylum.

dark garden - this is really the first exploration of photographic manipulation in photoshop that i've been happy with. most of the stuff i've done before has been more like http://is.lamefree.com/~drd/analog/pdg2y.jpg -- completely abstract and completely computer generated.

a lot of the techniques i use are fractal or semi-fractal (right within photoshop!) so it was fitting for this one that i started with an image created by starfish, .. a really cool (tm) program that generates computer "art" with the click of a button.
