I hate posting negative stuff... but Believers is spelled wrong IF that's what that is suppose to say..and it looks satanic which I am not into.. however...some of it I can tell what it's meant to be and some things I have no clue what they are. It's big ...is it for a page or sig? It's not bad...if you are using it here as a sig...then you need to blend the 2 background colors... I hope I don't make you feel I am putting your work down.. it's just not my style

Ok...

-It's beliefs, not believers =)

-It isn't meant to be satanic, although, to some, it may look that way.

-Uhh, no.. it is not a sig =) it is just an image that is pretty useless.

-I realize some of the objects are hard to identify, but it is like that when art is somewhat abstract.

Thanks for the comments.

Looks way too busy to me... but I like the candles. Especially the two on the right.

The lightig on the Buddha (?) looks good, but that is much taken away by the cluttered background behind it.

Hey...no image is useless, it can all go into your portfolio and Cirriculum Vitae.

dark and gothic, that's cool.
I like it, and I could read it with no problems, it quite clearly says False Beliefs.

slightly higher res, and it could be a background.
very interesting though.
although loking at individual parts of the image, its messy, the whole does still convey a message, so its all good.
unique.

Nice blending...the tones, as well as the allowed shades are very good.

Now, for the bad?
It screams "Dave McKean"..if you get a chance, look up some of his work online, though I'm willing to bet you've seen it, at least in passing. This image seemed very derivative of Dave's "Sandman" covers. That's not a detraction as much as it is, a request for you to expand it...make it yours...I think I liked the previous version more so than your updated one, just for this factor.

Focus. The composition is great..the fact that you're alluding to a message is great...the use of kind of overdone gothic symbolism is a bit weak..but it isn't as pronounced as the lack of focus.

By the motion of your composition, the eye is drawn to the bright cathedral windows first...and then it sweeps to the nearly illegible "beliefs" text...and then drops past the host statue's face to the near illegible "faith" text below.

You might want to look at what you're highlighting for focus, so as to "dim down" anything that is drawing away from your intent.

It's a great composite image...and I'd be willing to bet it becomes more amazing while it's being retooled. I hope to keep seeing it progress.

I appreciate the guidance, DG. As I am still in the learning process when it comes to illustrations. I can use all the info I can get.

I'll remember what you've said as I continue with it

Maybe I should take an art course or something.

On what DG was talking about how the eye sees certain things first...I hit that big bright window in the corner, then sweep across to the part of "beliefs" that you can actually see, then down the to candles and back left to the other windows. Almost a reverse C shape...
I didn't even notice "faith" going across until I gave it a hard second glance
