Is there any way to see the layer mask-content in the image area besides from the small pic beside the layer pic in the layer-palette?

Because sometimes you really want to see what you are doing if you for instance paint a mask with the airbrush.

yup .. there sure is... ALT Click on the layer mask icon in your layer pallette!

not sure what the button on a mac is .. but for PC its ALT <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif">

Alt = Funk, Ctrl = Soul on the Mac stuff.

Macs used to come with a Power/Glory button on the keyboard too. But they fazed that out for a variable This/That controller instead.

Love Macs. Must buy one soon.

Or, of course, in your channels palette, you can click the little eye on, so it appears as a pink overlay...
