Preserved Topic: Transparent background in PS5

Ok....Next question. When I try to save an image with a transparent color , the color still shows up on the image when I post it to my web page. Any ideas ??

Here is the url for the image in question. It is the "Welcome To" thing at the top. I would just do it as TEXT , but the font is not a regular one that everyone has.

first off, that's a scary color scheme. i'd suggest not using white text on that crazy background. seperate your text fields into tables and give the tables a gray background and then the text black or white. my crusade, not yours.

second, there are probably a hundred different reasons why that's not working properly. if you're using photoshop 5.5 or 6.0 then make sure in the .psd file that has no background color; so it's text on a transparent background. then, go to file/save for web and check the "transparent" box. give it a matte color of #CEEFFF (a color i snagged from your site) and save it. that should work out for you then.
