Wow, I need to read people's questions better before I answer. Umm...scrap that I guess. Left Justify is just the other button, and since it's the default setting, I'm sure that's not your problem.

mbridge -- what you're talking about is right ALIGNING the text.

I'm not sure if you can actually justify the text in photoshop except doing by hand by adjusting the kerning and leading and the spaces on each line.

ok.. presuming your talking photoshop?.. and presuming also you dont mind rendering your text layer? (i.e. you wont be able to edit it on the fly anymore)

type your text.. ....... justify it, render it, and then translate it! to where ever you fancy!

nuff said.......

(ps: for me at least a more detailed question would be appreciated.. heh... it was a bit vague.. *g*)

good one doreen - post once, then disappear.
i dont know how you can do this in photoshop.
it can be done in word, ill show you fellas what it is:

ok, now photoshop doesnt do this because it doesnt wrap text to a new line.
you have to press carriage return yourself.
you can try and simulate this yourself (like my blue text) by changing the tracking on the lines.
however, this can get difficult, especially if you're like me and prefer the spaces to have more tracking than the text.
good luck!

As still we don´t know what the hell is he talking about, i´m going to say how to justify in HTML (don´t know if works with netscape)

text

Edit: And justify is a sort of alignment: align right, align left, aling center and aling justify, what i know is that you cannot justify text in photoshop

jejeje, how Gurú am i!!!!!

yes vp, i did that arrow in photoshop.
another prime example of the tragedy that is having the right tool in the wrong hands....
anyone else think that doreen got scared off?
i think them mad scientists are getting a little slack - back when i joined, as soon as i was scared away, it was too late, the jacket was on my body, the meds in my mouth, and the electrodes... well, no one wants to know where they were....

hmmmmm... must have been those electrodes in that case... if your interested.. The Pencil tool has a fly out called the line tool. If you make that your active tool then go and look at the options menu you should see where its lets you specify an arrow head. You can chose the size, and position of the arrow. just an fyi

(ps: crappy Aussie accent btw in that other thread.. LOL@this is a pygmy) heh

You guys are fo-getting that in Photoshop 6, you can take the new type tool and drag yourself a resizeable window in which to contrain your text by dragging the tool like you would a marquee tool. Then, all of your text will wrap, and it will align/justify however you like. And you can move the window around and resize it how you want, in essence .. doing some "self justification". (get it? self justification? bwahaha!)

Photoshop 5.5 doesnt have this ability.
