Hi, Im a newby
I need some help I've been doin my own artwork using adobe to color in my pen drawings for about a year now. I've gotten the hang of it but the one thing I lack is the ability to do magic or lighting effects.
Heres something im working on now but I want to make it like hes got a really cool looking fireball in his hand.

It looks like you've got a good grasp on the drawing end.... I'd like to see more down the road.

Fire balls...

I don't think I know of a tut location... but I think I can outline it for you.

1. New image
2. difference cloud multiple times
3. Selection to to select an area and a good moltent looking area
4. Adjust the layer color to turn it red/orange & fiery.

See the thing I was thiking about was a type of lightning effect like from this drawing Long Vo did.

I learned how to color in adobe from a tutorial he posted on his site but he mentions that he was gonna do one for special effects like this but he never made it.

This tut is not step by step, but with a few trial-and-errors you should get the hang of it.
