Well people, here's a few tips when doing a tutorial. Thought some people might be able to make use of it

Doing a tutorial is more than just doing the tutorial. Don't do a rust tutorial just to learn how to make rust. Use it to practice your guassian blur skills. Steve's tutorial isn't just about making cool glass, it's how to use the displace filter and you should do it at least five times to get good displace practice.

When you're doing a tutorial for something, don't just look at it as a tutorial on the subject matter, use it to sharpen your skills. I must have done fifty tutorials on making glass, and I can't remember the specifics on even one of them. But if you asked me how to make glass text I could come up with several ways of tackling the problem just on what I knew about how to use the program (PS in this case, but PSP applies as well, Shiiz ).

Anyway, thought I'd give out a few tips some people might be able to utilize. Enjoy
