Preserved Topic: Live to cartoon? (Page 1 of 1)

Okay So I took a couple of pix that I liked into PS and composited the two together. Of course it doesn't really look real but thats okay.

Now what I want is to make this into more of a cartoon. Any ideas? tips, tricks, tutes?

Try filters->stylize->find edges. That should give you an outline drawing of the pic. Then desaturate it and adjust the levels. After you clean up the lines, you can either color it in yourself, or overlay it on the original pic for color.

Scan, clean like Silence said, Invert, Curve Black to match bg.


I've got a scan from "The Book of Nod." Anybody want to try to color it?
