Well, i think that's a huge improvement!

Only thing that really jumps out at me... is the blending from the roof-tops to the clock... I think that could be blended a bit better. But let's wait to see what the 'experts' have to say... but all-in-all...a *big* improvement.

I'd have to agree with noJive there. Cut that school pic right down to the rooftop...good hard line at the edge of the roof & sky. There is enough of the blurry/transparency type masking going on in the rest of the picture. Other than that I really dig it. Much improved over version 1 you posted here earlier.

I agree with the others. Fix your blending between the roof and the clock. This is a great, great effort, and a huge improvement over your last post. You should feel good about this.

I found "sapere aude" elsewhere on the internet, and it came up, "Dare to know." I knew I'd heard that phrase somewhere before...

just curious..how did you get the text 'St. Afra Gymnasium' around the edges of the clock?

i mean i know there are many ways to do it...polar coordinates, individual letter rotation or even external plug ins....just wondering what you used...

i never got it so smooth with polar or rotation....did i do something wrong?

i don't know, the clock number doesn't notice "much", maybe to dark them a little, or give them more brighten (?) edges, or increase the shadows, don't know, but i would do something.....

The things I don't like about it:

there's still a white halo around the roof, *try* to reduce that if you can.
The 1 in 2001 is on the other color, that looks bad to me.
Too many words! There are phrases and sentences all around the thing, it gets sort of distracting.

Otherwise, I remember the original you posted, and this is *so* much better, so good job.

The words behind the hands are kinda repetitive since everything said there is also said somewhere else. It also doesn't look well placed. There would never be text there on a real clock because the hands would always be in the way when you tried to read it. I agree with Wakkos that the numbers could use a lil' enhancement too. Looks great otherwise. Oh and if I was gonna be *REALLY* picky, i'd ask where the door knob for the door is.

I'm going to agree with everyone else and say that the numbers on the clock need more definition. I'm not really sure what you should do with the text behind the hands on the clock, on one hand it's kinda distracting but if you did not have it there the clock might look a little empty. The 1 in 2001 is not the same color as the rest of the text. I sorta like it but you might want to make it match with the rest of the text, or tone down the color a little if your trying to make the 1 stand out.
