Playing with noise and median and the smudge tool and overlaying gradients, I couldn't pull off much myself. This grass (if it can be called such) is pretty tall too. Oh well. I guess what I'd like to know is how big this thing is supposed to be in relation to the grass. |

nice Bob.. needs more perspective ( depth.. as in a horizon me reckons), plus some randomness to the direction of the blades of grass to give it some irregularity.. but heck.. better than I can do at the moment.. I need to paint it and not.... ~Vp~ |

Absolutely right VP. This was just a quickie. You can free transform for perspective, cut in a horizon, or background, adjust curves to bring up the darker areas. This is a really flexible trick. longer grass ? use more wind. |
