should be a simple question. im making a texture that involves curved "bars" is there any way i can take a rectangle made with the marque tool and curve it? any other ways to get the effect i want? |

Sounds like a job for Pen tools. Get to know them. They are your friend. |

couldn't be closer to the truth, the moment you get an understanding of the pen tool and get to know it... EVERYTHING will be a little easier, from drawing to selecting and more... |

the pen tool was kinda tricky the first couple times i tried it, but now i understand, and its easily scaleable. powerful tool. now i have to figuire out how to fill with it hehe |

Why does the pen tool sometimes automatically add a big curve to a line after I've put down a curved node? Is there some way to make it stop that? |

I know if you lay a point, keep the mouse button down and drag some more, it will Brazier curve it. That will affect how the line goes between points. One curved point between two non-curved points is a curved, 2-segment line. |
