I found the line tool, that's not the problem. Problem is, I can't figure out how to make it aliased...that is, NOT anti-aliased.
Really pissing me off. Anybody have any help? I am lost.

Did you look in the tool bar at the top?

Yes.
From left to right I get...
Reset tool/reset all tools
Create new shape layer
Create new work path
Create filled region
Rectangle Tool
Rounded Rectangle Tool
Ellipse Tool
Polygon Tool
Line Tool (clicking or right-clicking does nothing but activate it)
Drop down arrow (dialog box to make arrow heads on end of line)
Weight (currently set to 1px...no options for aliased)
Layer Style (which seems to be filled with textures/gradients/similar stuff)
Mode (normal, dissolve, overlay, etc)
Opacity

That is everything in the top tool bar.

I have anti-alias option on my toolbar.

Maybe, it didn't fit on your screen, try to undock the toolbar.

Figured it out!!!
Of the 3 options:
Create new shape layer
Create new work path
Create filled region

I had 'Create new shape layer' chosen...there is no anti-alias choice for that.
When I click 'Create filled region' it shows up (and 'layer style' goes away)
Actually, Mr. Max, it was the LACK of a 'layer style' button on your toobar image that keyed me to that idea.
3 Cheers for Mr. Max!

Thanks
I thought I was losing my mind!
