Looking to make bamboo sticks for a border. Anyone know a round about way i can do this? |

I'ld say do one section using Paths, then colour it by hand. Copy and Move to make more bambo. Hmm... maybe drop some light Airbrush on Dissolve and Motion blur it. Clipping Groups should be very handy. Then get into the nitty-gritty of tying the corners together with rope. |

Great start, wilmonkey. As I recall, it`s kinda knarly at the joints. Dodge and burn some of those details in there, green it up a bit ( or brown it up a bit if it`s dead ) also, you might try starting with a straight selection (a rectangle ) add your veins of color there and then filter>>distort>> pinch the whole thing so the veins bend with the stalk. |

Also dont forget to alternate the segments slightly, the joints wont be paralell to eachother, they will vary kinda like this |
