All right, a little explanation on how the globe thing works...

At first, I started off with a world map, and made a looping animation of it, going right. In the background you can see the same animation, but this one's going left. you'll find out why.



then I ran [Filter>Distort>Spherize] at a setting of 100% on all frames of the animation. That resulted in this:



right, now I had a globe map, without shading or anything. The next step was the globe itself. I removed the background from the picture (since I hadn't noticed Shiii'd already done that, stupid me) and made two versions, one with clear glass, (for the water on the globe) and one with matte glass (for the land) I used the animation of the globe I made for the mask of the globe with matte glass. All white parts of the animation became matte, all black parts became clear. Just a little tonal adjustments and I was done.
