Hello, yes yet another question, since this is a great forum, and some experts hang out here I have another question for PSHOP. How do I make say 14pt or 12pt fonts on an image smooth and sharp? I am using fonts in the default windows install like Impact, Comics etc. I don't have commercial fonts. Thx in advance! |

Do some research on pixel fonts |

In either case try turning the anti-aliasing to none. The fonts you mentioned will look a little blocky at that size, but they`ll be clearer. |

Actually it seems pixel fonts are about 8pt-10pt in size. I am looking for fonts in the range of 12-14pt in size, yet look good when imposed on images (like logo, banners etc.). Impact looks alright at 18 but at 14 it gets blurred so something similar to Impact yet better at that size would be very useful! Thx again! |

acidcool DOES have a good selection of fonts. But I would advise buying a copy of AddSubtract to get around the BS (pop up windows, and flashing adds) |

webwasher is a free addremoval proxy. ( www.webwasher.com I think.). But it slows you down a bit if you have a broadband connection. at least it seemed to me like that. |

Addsubtract, webwasher? Eh, I just use mozilla with JS switched off. It's simpler that way, and it's a nice feeling to drop mozzie in some server logs ever now and then. Keeps it's stats up and in an odd way your throwing support towards the developers. |
