Open a new image. Make a black square on it in the size you want your brush to be. Select all. Click on the little arrow in the upper right corner of the brushes window. Choose "Define Brush". |

hmm... I didn't see the "Define New Brush" option. Possibly I need to change my color mode or something??? |

What version do you have? If you have 6.0, what BeeKay say might be the way to go. I don't have 6.0 so I don't know what the differences are. |

Nope, that be all there is to it in version 6. Definitely one of the many cool things about photoshop! You can create brushes till they're coming out of your ears ... |
