I just get a page not found error from this and the link in the other forum (after refreshing). I suspect it may be something to do with Geocities so you might want to look at grabbing some space elsewhere!! |

| Paranoid (IV) Inmate From: The land up and over. | posted 03-03-2002 21:43 Well it's a good idea. |
| Bipolar (III) Inmate From: Tacoma, WA, USA | posted 03-03-2002 21:49 It was made more with the idea of being like a splash page, not a background. It is probably compressed bad, because I dont really know how to compress good... lol. |
| Paranoid (IV) Mad Scientist From: Massachusetts, USA | posted 03-04-2002 00:19 It's a definite improvement over the other one. The simple blue color is nice, and the content is interesting... the jaggies are distracting though, and some of the text looks kinda mashed. |
| Maniac (V) Inmate From: under the bed | posted 03-04-2002 01:25 I'll agree that there is some improvement over the previous posting. |
| Maniac (V) Mad Scientist From: buttcrack of the midwest | posted 03-04-2002 01:31 IMHO, as a splash page, it`s either too tall and/or too narrow. Lots of people still use 800x600 as a screen res, so if compatibility is an issue, you should start there. And even at this compression rate, it`s rather large at 86K. |
