I think it deserves a lil more than that I like how it aimed for very very beginngers. Once you master these tuts, all the REAL tuts don't seem so hard to digest.

I'd give 'em a cookie.

Yeah, Most of the Digi Painting tutorials I've seen around are on portraits and stuff...

Landscapes seem like a good place to start. It helps to get you into the feel of how things are done. Get used to the tools and to loosen up a little. I've always been too picky with my work and whenever I've tried something rather complex and it doesn't work out I just give up. Although while running through these tutes I had fun and it didn't really matter if I screwed up as they still looked quite good.
