If you need a whole slew of programs to choose from, a place that has a commercial service for tutorial movies (for most mainstream productivity/design programs) is:
http://www.vtco.com

It's $25/month (cancel any time) for online-based movies or you can order the movies on CD for like $90.

Considering a manual is $50-$60 for many programs, it's quite worth it to sign up for 2 months, since learning visually goes much quicker.

I've found it much easier and more straightforward than trying to use books.

Oh, and two things:

1) They have the first chapters of their tutorials for free (so if you want to learn very basic Flash, you can do so for free, for example).

2) They're a lot less cheesy than that Total Training guy.

I personally couldn't stand the PS Movies when I first saw them on Photoshop Lover, if I wanted a tutorial I'd look for one written up and unvoiced.

Scott, vtc has great movies and is certainly worth the $25.99 if you are a visual learner - In addition to the fact that they offer videos for so many different programs.

Scott, are you referring to the Total Training videos put out by Adobe, or the ones put out by Sybex?

Sybex Photoshop 6 Total Training CD is pretty nice, although it is more [text] than [videos].
