Hey, just wondered it anybody had any stock photos or tiled pictures of concrete or asphalt, iv'e looked everywhere and can't seem to find them (plus my lack of a digital camera).

Damn your good...I looked forever for stuff and the last post of pictures you gave me was gold...how do you do it?

I keep a personal texture library. Whenever I find something I like it gets saved in there.

Been doing that for years. It's quite big now. I started it when I came accross a free texture library that some university had and it was heaven! That was about 3 years back now but I can't find that site anymore. Although not through lack of trying that's for sure.

Almost all of the textures were considered 'public domain' material when I got my hands on them so I don't see why not. I've also gotten some from free texture libraries on the net like:

I'm making levels for Half-Life. I'm helping with a mod called Desert Crisis, and I needed some concrete textures. I probably have to ask permission to use them though, huh?
