lets say i have this well drawn and edited picture of 2 links of a chain, could i use that picture to fill a path? |

Do you mean taking an image (for example, a star), then making a path (for example, an S-shape), then stroking the path so it looks like a bunch of stars connected? That can be done. First, make a brush out of the image, then set the spacing of the brush to something big (150%, for instance), then, with the path selected, stroke it using that brush. |
