Preserved Topic: Button game (Page 1 of 2)

One of my favorite things to make in photoshop are buttons. So that got me thinking of a game. The rules of the game are simple. You make a button and then name a material. The next person has to make a button of that material and then name the next material.

I'll start.



material: gold

Topaz

And this: I'm out of here for at least two weeks kids. Vacation time is well needed if not deserved. I'll talk to you all when I'm back...possibly

next material.... weathered wood

Moth, you've hit on something that I really like to do as well. People think I'm nuts because of it. But I say to them... can you make a amber-egg button? All I get in return is a blank stare

Uhm.. natural topaz is amber colored, translucent crystal.. synthetic topaz is cyan colored, translucent crystal. Yours would be.. marble?
No time for a button right now, but cool idea for a game!!

Yeah, it does kinda look like marble. Based it off an image of topaz that was called "Natural Color Blue Topaz Specimen"

Don't ask me to make weathered wood.. I might come up with a pink bunny or something

Hrm.. looks like agate or quartz to me. Natural topaz looks like an emerad when it's cut only it's yellow. Blue topaz doesn't occur naturally.. they take yellow topaz and expose it to high rad bursts of radioactivity which causes it to change color.
