Preserved Topic: Glassy Spheroid... (help?) (Page 1 of 1)

Apologies all around for asking what 'may' be a dumb question, but since there are supposedly NO dumb questions, here it goes:

<start story> So there I was, browing ppl's sites for tutorials, and I came across one site that had a great looking tutorial for this glassy sphere. The image was a foresty sort, and I remember a hand, and in the hand, THE SPHERE. As I went to toss the site into my Favorites folder I thought: why bother? After all, I have the site bookmarked that has a link to the list of tutorials that I found this one fella's site in that had a link to another list that contained a reference to someone worth checking out who had a link on THEIR site that led to this site. So, it should be easy enough to find later. </end story>

Hindsight = 20/20, and i shoulda' saved the site when i had the chance, but anyone know where i can find this site/tutorial again? Or one that might help?

It sounds like something that happened in these forums. Oddly enough... I have the damned image saved on my computer. I forget who offered the PSD for download, so all credit towards them.

You know, it's funny, when I made that image I had all these cool ideas and Steve's tutorial was definitely an inspiration, but, as things go, I cut a few corners on the final image and just used the spherize filter. Ah well, enjoy.
