The transparency lacks browser support...
That's all I can say considering the information you gave me!

Well let's see: Developed as a free alternative to Compuserve's GIF format, PNG (Portable Net Graphics) utilizes four levels of transparency compared to the default one level of the gif. It's a wonderful thing...but destined to fail when it comes to proprietary browsers.

PNG has a smaller filesize than provided with JPEG compression (with the same relative quality) yet has a more intricate palette than gif compression (and that fancy level transparency deal). They're nice...but the only really viable way to work with them achieving support online, is to use flash and import.

All browser will display PNGs, but IE won't display their transparency at all.

What else ya need?
