Hi
I've got problem.I have to layers and i want to combine them in a smoth way.I saw this on many tutorials but right now i can't find it.(Usually pages don't exist any more..)Can anybody give me solution?

Open your Photoshop manual, and search for 'masks' and look up how to use them. If you don't have one, press the F1 button (or open the PS help files) and look up the word 'mask'.

Go to the first layer...
create a layer mask (option is at the bottom of the layers pallete, or in the menu)...
ensure your foreground and background colours are white and black respectively (you can always push 'D' then 'X' if need be)...
click and hold the paint bucket tool in the toolbar which gives you the option to select the gradient tool.
Now stroke a gradient across the picture and you'll see that a portion of the picture is shown through.. and other portions are not.
If you don't make a decent stroke for the gradient... just Cntrl-Z to undo it and try again. I'm sure you won't get what you want the first time around.

Might also try double clicking net to the layer name in the Layer Pallette to open the Layer Style pallette. Experiment with the Advanced Blending modes and Blend If sliders.
Then maybe read this
