Hi, all, I was wondering how I am able to create a tiled grid effect that is slightly embossed. Its pretty hard to explain exactly what I mean, but to have an idea of what I mean, an example is shown on the splash screen when you load up Adobe Elements. On the left hand side is a tile grid effect that seems embossed a little. |

Pardon me while I take this on an aside; I've noticed everybody takes a Select -> All before defining a pattern. |

You assume everybody has 6+. That is not always the case, and it is best to assume worst-case scenario. Otherwise, the person may come back complaining some part didn't work right, yadda yadda yadda. |

No, I understand not everybody has 6+ (too often I've tried to help somebody who comes back and says "That menu option isn't there!"). I just wanted to know if that's something you had to do in 6-, but you've answered that for me |

OK now we have solved the main question (tryst: Welcome - we'd like to see what you come up with using DL's technique) and the sub one we can address the following: |

Hehe....I must say that I really hate seeing the word "effect" appended to a description... |
