This rounds topic is sports, plenty of inspiration right now, NHL and NBA playoffs, the EUFA championship was yesterday. Paint anything that has anything to do with sports, or just paint anything -> post it.

I've been busy with the end of school. Getting everything in, finals etc the past month that I haven't been able to do this, or the sig contest. Hopefully I'll have some free time.

Refference image was used for the goalie. It's a painting though.

yeah I used a reference pic too... but I didn't even bother trying to make it look realistic...

hehe... now that I look at it again it looks less like a swimmer and more like a special olympics wrestler.

I have a pic of me and a friend,iwant to make it like hedsteve pic,shadowed and artistic..how do i make it like that?i tried many things,iopened the pic on photoshop and tried to play around with it but couldnt make it like hedsteve!!am i so stupid?

guys,ive a problem,idid something on photoshop and when iwanetd to copy and paste it here,iwrite click on the reply box but it shows that the paste icon is faded.

u have to save your picture as a file (preferrably .jpg) then upload it to some http host, and put the link in here.

If you mean post an image here, you`ll need to upload it to some webspace, and then link to it with UBB code . Or if it`s a really big file, just link to it on the webspace..

wow and here I thought mine kinda sucked.

ok lets see if I can remember what I did... I copied that layer and then did the cutout filter to it to get large plains of color then I opened a new layer and selected the colors and painted over the sections each color in a new layer and then choose a color that is similar to the main color but a bit lighter cover the whole object (swimmer in this case) and make this layer under all the painted layers. then paint over it with the blue.

I just do it really sloppy and it looks alright I guess.
