There has been some confusion in the past about what happens in here, so we`ll pretend not everyone has done this every week. For those of you that are new and those memory challenged, it goes like this :

1) Start here with this weeks image(s).

2) Have your way with it. That includes, but is by no means limited to : shake it, bake it, ruffle it smooth it, restore it, destroy it, twist it, burn it, smash it, stretch it, reveal the inner beauty, cut it to the red meat, paste it, waste it, taste it, mould it, mold it, shine it, shank it, dank it, yank it, in short, do to it what you will.

3) Post it here ( Be mindful of file size, thumbnails and text links are perfectly acceptable)

4) No critiques, no recriminations ( unless you do something really stupid )
No winners, no losers.

If you have an image you`d like us to mangle, send it me (see profile) and I`ll do the hard part.
Above all else, the most important thing is that you have fun with it.

I'm trying to figure out if outcydr is a prophet or if this is just subliminal suggestion at work...

Naw, he`s just one of the 3 people that noticed I didn`t post images last week.

I am sure all the regulars noticed the absence of RP 105. For all we know you could have had the sniffles or needed a long recovery from the weekend :-)

Honestly, I was considering the RPs demise. Response has been at an all time low for some time, now. Week 104 being the exception. I guess I`ll keep putting them up for a while and see how it goes.

Well, believe it or not, I was actually working on something for this week. I can't figure out how to make a realistic shadow, though (I'm trying to take the column out of it's current background), so I'm a tad frustrated at the moment.

Suho - there is a technique for shadow on this page, starts with the second last image. http://www.bigcloud.us/tuts/egg/caps4.htm - with a few modification maybe it will do the trick for the column.

I always looked at the RP more as workshop. Here are the images do something with it.
Perhaps the wrong attitude but it is an incentive to try and learn something new.
Trying to turn the old lad into a bust-statue (<- spelling) he is not very co-operative at this point.

OK .. I know ... I'm just wierd sometimes ...

I was trying desperatly to make that man look like part of a sculpture. . .which brings me to this question. . .anybody know how to make an image look like a sclupture?

Bob .. if you give up on RP, I INSIST that you send me 2 photos a week personally ... I really appreciate your efforts, here and in the rest of the Asylum, and it would be a sad, sad day indeed if RP slipped away.

As soon as I get my supply of pills from "nursey" I'll finish my mangling of the images and post them up. Really, unless someone can let me have some of their pills?
btw I can't see tribs image? The browser starts to load it but it seems to take forever (56k dial up) then just gives up.

sib : That`s exactly the attitude that started all this. Friends starting with the same pic, doing the creative thing with it, and then sharing it with other friends.

( not to burst any bubbles or anything, but apathy has been an artform for a long time.)

TaoBB .. My server went down at 3 am CET - about an hour before you posted ... I've got (roll of drums - clash of cymbals - groan of encroaching doom) ... problems with Linux! ... It's been around too long, and "up2dated" too often, and now it's seriously unstable ... time for a rebuild.

Aside from that, it's always slow because it's the central hub of my web radio service and most of the bandwidth is diven over to broadcasting music 24x7.
