I'm just testing something I've been working on tonight... obviously it's not done...

Okay, I know you didn't ask for opinions but I've had this on my screen all afternoon and I likey very much. My thoughts are :

The green and black circles...iris and pupil? anyone? eye component names? The green and black circular parts aren't happy with the perspective on the white part of the eye - the err ball? you follow me ... sorry.

The ball (white part) is sitting back at an awesome angle, but the green and balck are right there..heading straight on. Hope you get what I mean.

Needs a few lashes and the odd one out of place mebbe. Unless it was shaved on purpose so you could tattoo Human Shield on the lids hehe which I friggen *love* man. That would take some skill.

The light reflection/refraction is fantastic, as are the skin tones and skin highlites, it really looks moist in the corners.

The green/black circle parts look wicked. Just need to correct that angle.

Looks damn fine man. I'd be stoked to see the final results when your done. =)

~shivers~ I got chill bumps....it's REALLY awesome but I shiver when I look at it. Something about looking that close into a eye (yes it looks wet and real)~shivers again.. and omg @ wouldn't a tattoo REALLY hurt being done right there........ouuuuccccccch!

Ugh, don't even get me started on HAIR. I've been trying to get that right for months now.

If you ask me, they all hurt. And they're all worth it.

I just put up the newest bit I've done with it... I'm not sure where to go with it anymore. I want to avoid hair, because I can't do hair at all and I tried and it looks horrible. I took out the reflections of the bullets in the center (they were unrecognizable and pointless) and I'm sticking with just the swelling bit of the eye... where it sticks out. It's hard to read what the tattoo says, but I'm not too concerned about it. You can see the word "Shield" fine.

A tute of what? The eye? Oh man...

Step 1) Create shapes.

Step 2) Apply 48 touch up layers.

Step 3) Make 29 versions, 17 of which are spent trying to recreate that thing you did in version 2 completely by accident but looked so darn cool.

Step 4) Begin posting final treatments. (remember not to rename your image so the browser cache continues to serve up version 1, even tho you've posted seven other fixes in the meantime. This ensures no-one will have a clue what you're talking about for quite some time).

Step 5) Forget to thank everyone for taking the time to say something and help out becuase it doesn't take anytime to review something at all and you get it for nothing anyways, so why bother right? (An optional step it seems, tho I think it's an important one).

Step 6) Continue on thru version 30, only making sure from now on you're at the point where you've seen it so much that you can't really tell wheather it's complete or not, or actually remember what it was you wanted to achieve in the first place and valla! your new Sig is ready.

Left anything out HS?

You forgot the step where you absorb the snide comments of people who think their every word and comment should be appreciated, even when you make sure to state that the post that started it all should be ignored because you're just testing your transparency against the forum background.

I think that's an important step too, but thanks for the help writing the tutorial. <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/wink.gif"> I can just delete this whole thread now anyway, since I'm pretty much done with the image and don't plan to make any more changes. :P
