Never mind the sig rotating nonsence. That is one of the best sigs I've seen in a long time. Excellent!!

OpticBurn, it works fine. Just hit refresh button a couple of times (in IE click Ctrl+F5, to really reload it)...

keep getting internal server error 500.
My host is freedom to surf who I know support cgi scripting cause I used to run a UBB there. Followed your instructions:-

ie. path to perl is ok and upload sig2.pl in ASCII to my cgi-bin and chmoded to 755 put my images in gif format in a folder of their own. (now this is where I think I'm going wrong) the path to the 'images folder' bit (you say in your instructions it's not the url but the unix path could you explain this) sorry for being a pain <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/biggrin.gif"> (have put path as /images/) which is a folder in my root directory on my server.

Another question is does html have to be enabled in ubb for this to work??

Would really like to get this working 'cause I'm so impressed with it.

I don´t know how rto explain it, but i know the difference G8Master; URL is a http adress, while path means unix path, like mines is /opt2/domain/httpd/cgi/ or for the images: /opt2/domain/httpd/htdocs/images
and is not nescessary to be html code enable...

I know what the differences between the two are I just don't know what my unix path is??

eg. my images are stored at http://www.mydomain.com/images (how do I found out my unix path?)

When you log into your F2S account it'll have your UNIX path down at the bottom of the 'website' page. It'll say the path for CGI scripts.
something like this:
Your full directory path for use in cgi/php scripts is:
/web/sites/261/sloloem/www.sloloem.f2s.com

Sorry about that, that's how we say it over here in the UK. "LURV IT" as mr max pointed out means "love it".

I've refreshed at least 20 times and I never get the sig that the Trixter is talking about. It just shifts between 3 different ones, and none aof 'em has a woman in it.
(unless someone is heavily hitting the stereoids..)

I have been using your rotating sig script on a UBB I am a member of for about a week or so, some members there have noticed and asked how I did it. I told them you wrote the script and tried to link to your explanation but unfortunately the link is dead. I have uploaded the script to my server and given a link to it there for now (I have given you full credit for the script and have left the script and help document untouched) Is this OK? If it isn't ok I will remove the file from my server straight away. If it's not OK have you got a link to the file on your own server?
