Preserved Topic: Blue as usual...but watery (Page 1 of 1)

Trying a new concept here... how about it?

Pretty cool, looks more like ice then water but its nice. I suggest getting rid of the blue in the background but thats your choice. Nice work.

Don't know why but it just doesn't jump out at me, seems kind of bland >shrug<. Maybe it's the font, too blocky to be water, it needs to be more round, no sharp corners or strait edges. It just doesn't go with the water drops all around.

i kind of like the general look.. but it totally clashes with the look of the forum itself and as a result seems out of place.

try to modify the border a little so that it matches the forum's background. maybe you could also loose some size... a bit too big? eh?
but over all i really like it!

For water, there's too little transparency in the letters and the drips. If you want it to look like water, maybe just tone that down a bit? Otherwise, I like it, both the colours and the setup

Thanks for the feedback! Well, I wasn't really trying to make water, just *watery*, hehe. I was fooling around with the glass filter and the noise-blur-threshold stuff. Mikey is right, it doesn't really go that well with the colors of the forum. I'll have another one that I'll post later, different style.
