I love this effect!

I remember when that, Polar Coordinates, Wind method went all the rage with the X-Files folks way back when. It got tiring really fast.

BUT..I like this one Jackal, the spotlighting looks good, and the tones are sweet. I really liked how it seemed to cast a shadow at the bottom of the letters as well...nice detail. I think if it seemed just a bit more of a central spotlight instead of one bright one behind the Jackal part, and the one that seems a bit broken off behind the The, it might be cool too.

The only thing that bugs me is the font itself, I think. It just seems so stale, and spaced...but that's probably just me.

I also like its simplicity... I would tend to ease back on the background effect just a tad... but apart from that little thing I concur with DG

Thanks. I saw the shadow effect on another tut and tweaked it for the fade and played with the tones like crazy to get the right look. I am still messing with the spotlight and different fonts and such, when I get it a bit better I'll stick it up.
