i didnt like the black, but at least with the balck, the text looked more like part of the image.
now, its clearly below the image.
maybe (and im really not sure) you could move the text up a touch? i dunno.
but really nice stuff.

Like it Roy.. reminds me a little of the type of logo one might design for a bar or restaurant perhaps... simple but eye catching....

not so sure about your reference in the title to testes though!!!! LOL... that kinda got me worried!.. 1, 2, 3?.. hmmm.. lol

when i was at school, i would do the sound systems for when we had bands playing, and assemblies, and musicals and such.
it always got a better response when i checked the microphone saying "testes, testes, 1 2 3" instead of the boring old "testing testing.."

hehehe testes. I say that when I check my mic but i say it like Beavis.
just FYI here's the logo I designed - that's where the sig idea came from... also working on a web site for it, Bunchapixels- I'm going to try your applet on this one....
