Andreas,
I have always like your designs, and this is no exception. However, I do think I like the previous version better. There just seems to be too much going on here, what will the little dots and things. But saying that I am being very picky, as I do think it is a very good design!
I am not totally crazy about the animation either, but I think it is ok. Even though the shape tweens look like what Flash would create without any sort of guides. I know it is pretty hard to make that work well though. You might also want to make a nicer transition between then end of the animations and when it begins again?

i like it, looks nice & clean. Maybe you can drop down the menu's when you point your mouse over it? Maybe you can also make some clickable links in you flash banner on the top-left of your page ('actions' 'tutorials' 'interfaces').

Very nice looking site.
I think I would change the look and feel of the forum so that it looks like everything else on the site.
There are some dead links but I'm sure you'll fix this soon.
Keep up good work.

Here we go:

1. Get some mouse overs on those links at the top, Domething to let the user know that it is a link.

2. The bottom falls apart. There is no continuity to it. It doesn't look like it is a part of the interface. I would do something about that, add some closure to the page that fits with the rest of the theme.

Oh...I like your colorific match
Whatever,it is a good one for planar design
But in web page...I think,it is too many useless space in the part of main menu
("useless" means NOT useful information to visitors)
Maybe you can weave the below(like HOT STUFF,SITE NEWS...) inside the main menu
I think it will make your page more compact...Personal opinion.

Thanks everyone.

I am looking for a better dropdown-menu script that works on mouseover. This one crashes NS when set to mouseover. I know the flash sucks, and that the site looks like crap in NS. I'll work on it during the next week.

The part I like most about the site is that all colors are specified in a stylesheet, and I have a template for the interface, so I can change the site layout in minutes. I'll probably start working on a new one right away.

Unfortunately I prefer making new layouts, not updating my current one, so most on the stuff on the site is very old.

zhaopeng: This is a designer site. Usseless space is OK for me

Hehe...Adobe GoLive 5 can do it very easy.

Does that dropdown menu generated by GoLive work in Mozilla 0.7 / Netscape 6?

Me like, me like Clean and nice graphics.

On the bad side: That banner thingy on top of screen "melds" too much with your design. It looks as its part of your design, when it really isnt.

In Adobe GoLive(Ver 1.2.3.4.5...)
All options marks "IE,NS"
Maybe you get the answer for your question here already

I'll see what I can do. Unfortunately I don't use golive. Does the one generated in Golive support images in the submenues? The one I use does, but then it does'nt work in NS.

Hmm, I doubt that that dropdown menu from GoLive would work in Mozilla 0.7 / Netscape 6, because it isn't the same as NS 4! It has support for W3C DOM which is much different than DOM from NS 4!

To Awilthil:
You can use some layers to realize the "dropmenu" effect.
N you can put some images into a layer.

Yeah,NS 6 is different than early version in CSS support...I can't understand why....But I dislike it...
I think Adobe will publish a patch for NS6 CSS support...I hope...
