Preserved Topic: New design (Page 1 of 1)

Here's another design that I have put together. It's not all finished but, I'm sure you know where I am heading with it. It's not all that but, something to pass the time away until I can come up with something better.

nice layout.. kinda of busy... only negative is some of the corners are a bit shoddy.. pixellated as in not very round.... (1024x768 NN4.04) but I think that is me being picky.. the average visitor wouldn't notice... colour scheme is safe.. tans work.. but nothing revolutionary there.. dont like the bg to the main page.. but the mouse overs for the left hand nav bar are sweet... thats all

You know...I wish I could find a script to make it work. If I could find that then I think it would be good to go.

whoa i found huge problems (running Win2k & IE5.0)

1. At 1280 x 1024 there's a huge gaping hole in the graphics at the top of the browser.
2. When I scaled the browser down to fill the hole all the text appeared to overlap itself turning the text into one big black mess.

other than that the graphics are quite good as usual Allgood.

Can you do a screen shot Boudga and send to me what you see? I don't have it to where it goes that high.

Hey, the site is awesome. I only have one problem.

I'm on a T1 line and the mouseovers on the left navbar take a full second for the pic to change. Also, while the pic is changing, the flash above it pauses during this. I dunno, might be just me though.

I got your e-mail this time and see the problem. Thanks Boudga...also love your sig.

Thanks silence for the nice comments. I also noticed that the mouseovers were slow but, didn't see it interferring with the flash though. Will have to look into that.

I hope that helps Algood...I like your work...it's very interesting to look at!

Pretty darned cool. Some areas look like the jpgs compressed too much, and they get pixely. Also, you should preload those mouseovers - they'd be much quicker.

I'd animate the meters on the rights, and choose another font for the content. Something about what's there just bugs me a little.

Other than that, WAY COOL.
