Preserved Topic: well... I did it again (Page 1 of 1)

After few weeks I got bored to my new layout( http://www.mbnet.fi/~powder ) and thought I'd change it.
Now I'm quite done with the new layout except it's popup window again!
I like the layout now but I want to get rid of the pop up window. If anyone has any good ideas what to do to the pages but still save the top gif please let me know!!!

yeah I'm partial to the dark blue version you had before also...

i like he old one better, but i can understand if you got bored of it. when i finish a nav or something (like 50 of them on my HDD) or when i'm working on it, i'm constantly looking at it, so no matter how cool it is at first, it's gonna suck after 2-3 days.

One other Thing about you new design, T couldn't get it to work in Netscape, The other one worked Fine though??

I liked both designs, but I am completely partial to the orrigional, it has grown a lot since you first put it up there. The second one is also pretty cool, I am not sure about the red in it, it seems very over powering.

The blue page has some snap, so I'd stay with that, no sense changing shit just because you're bored, and the white page looks amateurish, like it needs some contrast, or dust and scratch adjustment, or something.

Thanks guys for the opinions! I made the red/white layout super quckly because I got this urge to use red white and black! Well I'm gonna keep the blue layout.

dark blue one is way cooler than the other one.......

a couple things that you need to look at...

Firstly, you need to do something with the white "notepad" lookin' main text area. Give it a cool background. Something to make it fit more into the site. The plain white doesn't look right next to all those colors and decent gfx.

Secondly, put some alt tags on your menu links. I couldn't figure out what the hell a couple were without clicking on them.

Thirdly, experiment with making your site fit a full browser at any res. While it looks cool at a smaller res, I could tell where you were trying to squeeze things in to make sure it fit all on one page. You should make it so it works on normal browser and people would like it better =).
